Put your hands together with all the fingers touching each other to form a circle. Imagine this circle to be the journey that the ‘soul’ takes with the tips of the four fingers of the right hand corresponding to the birth of the soul as it begins its journey and the tips of the four fingers of the left hand corresponding to its ultimate destination…the Creator.
The soul is furthest away from the Creator when it reaches the “U” turn (made by the thumbs) and the most confused. The soul keeps moving backwards and forwards in a semi-circle since it wants to walk the path but is often pulled back by the gravity of old karma. It is at this point that the soul needs the utmost amount of love and care so as to walk the path towards the Creator and it is at this stage that we should do our utmost to help such souls “walk the path”.
Life is like a river, just let it flow gently and let the teachings of Master unfold gradually in your life. Do not fight your life (dam the river) to follow his teachings. Once you do this and look back at your life you will see that his teachings are actually in complete harmony with your life…in harmony with each one of our lives.
Having realized this, you will automatically update your life (direct the course of the river) to strengthen this harmony…to take the path that leads back to the Creator…to oneness with God and oneness with all…
Nature is constantly teaching us harmony and balance. The transaction of paying a healer for a healing session is like the gurudakshina in the gurukool system. In the ancient times, the ruling class was always taught at the gurukul alongwith the Brahmin children. The kings donated land, cows, food, etc. year after year as payment to the guru for the education of their children. The children of the Brahmins would render service to their teacher since they could not afford to pay the gurudakshina. In one form or another the transaction was completed.
Sometimes, for very special students like Lord Krishna the guru would ask for immense/monumental gurudakshina such as the resurrection of a disciple….which was fulfilled by Lord Krishna.
In every healing the healer is healing the purush/prakriti connection. When a healer heals a patient, the healer gives to the patient on many planes (mental, emotional, physical). The healing alone would not complete the transaction as nature tells us that we do not have a right to receive unless we also give back.
By compensating a healer for the healing session we are actually giving back to the healer. We are inhaling (healing) and exhaling (paying)… This concretization of the ‘transaction’ on the physical plane has the effect of releasing the transaction on many many more planes. To illustrate, when a healer heals a patient over a long period of time and the patient does not pay for the healing, such a patient will have to give back to the healer at some point in time karmically to complete the transaction (the process of exhaling). This is the law of karma.
Good karmas are created by exhaling /inhaling…giving back gives you entitlement to receive, entitlement to be healed…live your life in accordance with the rules of nature…give in order to receive…
Lovingly share and practice humility in whatever you do. Love is doing the best you possibly can and letting go…
Love is seeking to be! Love is being…for it is in being that you lead a life of freedom. Everything else is bondage…is against the spirit… against the nature of our soul…
Be the ocean of love and experience the joy of life…
When a marriage is truly successful it means it is successful on seven planes….that is why it is often called ‘saat janam ka rishta’ and why couples take ‘saat phere’ when they get married.
In pranic healing terms the seven planes refer to the several chakras of each spouse i.e. spiritual (crown and forehead chakras), mental (ajna and throat chakras), emotional (heart and solar plexus chakras), sexual (sex chakra), material (basic chakra). When the size of and the chords between the respective chakras of the two spouses is equal then the relationship is more harmonized and is tending towards divine union between two souls.
For other relationships (parent/s-children-sister/s-brother/s-uncle/s-aunt/s-friends etc.) to be successful most of these charkas maybe involved indirectly.
Within the principle of duality lies the principle of paradox. Within the principle of paradox lies the principle of oneness. Therefore the principle of paradox is extremely important for it is understanding this helps you reach oneness.
Hunger, pride and greed together are a dangerous combination. If we change the combination to hunger, service and humility it becomes the right thing to do. If one is living in a worldly society, practice of hunger, service and humility with moderation may be the key to peace, love, hope, joy and light.
As new healers we are often scared and worried about the outcome of our healing e.g. accidentally harming patients by over-energizing them or using the wrong colour prana etc. This uncertainty prevents us from healing those we would like to heal. What we should however remember each time we are daunted by the task of healing is the wonderful power of the invocation before the healing.
If we invoke to our Teacher for protection and guidance with humility and remember we are merely instruments of healing, nothing can go wrong with our healing. Remember, ‘energy follows thought’.
The protection we receive after the invocation is tremendous. The thought form created by the invocation is much larger than that of uncertainty. As we begin to heal regularly the thought form of the invocation grows bigger and bigger and completely overrides the smaller thought relating to the uncertainty. If we begin in this manner and practice regularly without pride we will gradually become proficient healers or instruments of healing.

What prevents us from enjoying the present is, more often than not, memories of happier times…! What stops us from giving hundred percent to our immediate task on hand, is usually, pre-occupation with that which we have set aside to make time for this…!
What is it that makes us reluctant to accept the new, and to let go of the old? We seem to be constantly “attached” to things, thoughts, people, responsibilities, memories, worries, ideas, fears… This is something that defeats our purpose, and makes our efforts futile. An issue that affects each one of us, in many forms, at every step of life, is “attachment”.
In the language of Pranic Healing, attachment means hundreds of cords that constantly attach us to the objects of our thoughts, to everything we cannot mentally or emotionally disconnect from. On a material plane, it is relatively easier to identify attachments, but on a subtler plane, we are blissfully unaware. We are usually over-attached to our ideology, our practices, our habits, our views, our achievements, even our spiritual “superiority”!
As Yuliaji pointed out on one occasion, the key to “detachment” is the truth that “nothing is permanent”. Master has repeatedly emphasized “accurate perception, and correct expression”! It is only by understanding the worth and purpose of everything correctly, including our role in the scheme of things, that we can get on top of attachment.
Though it never deterred me from healing, time and again I realised that during some healing, my scanning had been quite inaccurate. Sometimes I would realise this only later, when double-checking with one of my mentors. Yet, almost everytime, the healings had worked despite the wrong scanning! It took me a few such experiences to finally understand the bottom line… it is not me who’s doing the healing anyway!
Some of you, who have not practiced healing, may wonder what I’m talking about. But those of you who have, would understand, because of all those occasions when we inadvertently made mistakes, and yet, incredibly, the patient improved!
So, all fellow healers who are still sitting on the fence for fear of making mistakes, don’t worry, we are merely channels of healing. The healing is done by divine beings. We just have to “be conductive, be receptive”, as Master said. And of course, we must follow the simple instructions. All we have to do is refer to the protocol given in the book. If the invocation is sincere, full of faith and humility, your intention is pure and your healing is thorough, the healing will definitely work.
