Crystals for psychic protection
Traditional stones for psychic protection are black tourmaline, obsidian, tiger eyes, amber, ammonite and others.
How to prepare the stone for protection
- Cleanse the crystal in salt water.
- Clear the crystal with Divine energy.
- Charge the crystal through rhythmic breathing or in the sunlight (or in moonlight, depending on the type of crystal).
- Program the crystal OR consecrate the crystal for protection.
- Seal the program.
- Keep the stone in a special place.
- Periodically cleanse and charge the crystal, and reinforce the program.
Programming a crystal
Programming a crystal means infusing the crystal with your intent. Intent is a subtle mental energy that will be absorbed by the crystal and will be radiated by it, multiplied many times.
1. Sit quietly, be aware of your breathing. Center yourself and clear your mind.
2. Concentrate on the intended program.
3. Hold the crystal in your dominant hand (or both hands), establish a contact with the crystal.
4. Infuse your intention – speak out loud, telepathically or transmit it visually. Ask the crystal to assist you in your intent for your highest good and for the highest good of all concerned.

Talk to the crystal in simple words, lovingly, respectfully, yet firmly.
5. Thank the crystal, hold it to your heart and seal the program with your intention.
The program is now stored in the crystal and will be running until it dissipates or you clear it out.
Consecration
Consecration means dedicating an object to the Supreme Being and invoking to the Supreme Being to bless the object for a particular purpose.

4. Lovingly think of the Creator.

6. Invoke to the Creator: ‘To the Creator, thank You for blessing this crystal with Divine Powers for my protection.’

5. Thank the Creator. Thank the crystal, hold it to your heart and seal the program with your intention.
