Forgiving and asking for forgiveness
Forgiveness and Loving-Kindness
"Some severe ailments are emotional in origin. Some patients have so much deep-seated hurt or resentment towards certain person(s). Although pranic healing does greatly improve the condition of the patient, the rate of healing would be much faster if the patient consciously exerts an effort to forgive those who may have actually or imaginarily hurt him or her. Even though the solar plexus chakra and the other chakras are quite clean after pranic treatment, if the patient recalls the person(s) or the disturbing event, the solar plexus chakra will again become congested and dirty which will also adversely affect some of the chakras and some of the organs. Unless the patient learns to forgive, the healing will be slow or there will be a relapse. THE ACT OF FORGIVING IS THERAPEUTIC AND IS NECESSARY FOR GOOD HEALTH. It helps normalize the solar plexus chakra and the other affected chakras.
Being habitually critical, irritable or angry is also very unhygienic and bad for the health in the long run. The remedy is of course to learn to appreciate the good qualities of others, to practice kindness and to learn to be calm. It is easier to wear a pair of shoes than to try to flatten all the rough ground. It is easier to be kind, tolerant, and detached than to try to change and improve everybody."

Forgiveness Affirmations
These forgiveness affirmations are from book 'Hands-on Spiritual Healing' by Michael Bradford.

2. I (your name) absolutely and totally forgive myself for (action). I forgive myself right now!
3. I (your name) absolutely and totally forgive (person's name) for (action or deed). I forgive them right now!

5. I (your name) now ask for forgiveness from everyone I have ever hurt on any level and in any way from the beginning of time. I ask for and accept this forgiveness right now. I (your name) now absolutely and totally forgive 'myself for whatever I have done.
6. I (your name) now forgive myself for all the pain and suffering I have caused myself on all levels in all ways since the beginning of time. I forgive myself right now!
7. I (your name) am now willing to release the need for (name of addiction, pain, fear or problem) in my life. I (your name) release it now, accepting and trusting God, Holy Spirit and the process of life to assist me to heal and to meet all my needs and desires in a healthy way.
"Inner forgiveness is therapeutic. If you do not forgive, you cannot be internally healed. Forgiving heals the Soul."
(Experiencing Being by Master Choa Kok Sui)
This is the technique given by my teacher.
Make a list of people who have hurt you. You will do the forgiving procedure individually for each person on your list for as long as it is necessary (till you feel no bitter emotions in your heart).
Activate your heart chakra by touching the front of the chest with the fingers of your hand. Think of a happy moment in your life.
Forgiving
Visualize the face of the person you want to forgive. Raise your hands in a blessing posture. Silently say:
_______________ (name of the person), namaste!
I, the Soul, salute the Divinity within you! I, the Soul, salute the Soul, the Atma within you.
(Lovingly think of the Divine)
Our Heavenly Father-Mother, we are all Your children.
We are all children of the Most High.
We all make mistakes. We are all evolving.
(Think of the person)
You are forgiven! God's blessings be with you!
I release you. Go in peace. Namaste!
Om Shanti, Shaniti, Shaniti, Om.
Asking for forgiveness
Visualize the face of the person whom you are asking for forgiveness. Raise your hands in namaste posture. Silently say:
_______________ (name), namaste!
I, the Soul, salute the Divinity within you!
I, the Soul, salute the Atma within you.
(Lovingly think of the Divine)
Our Heavenly Father-Mother, we are all Your children.
We are all children of the Most High.
We all make mistakes. We are all evolving.
(Think of the person)
_______________ (name), please forgive me for all my mistakes.
Please forgive me for hurting you.
I admit my mistakes. I apologize for my mistakes. I make no excuses.
Let there be peace. Let bygone be bygone.
God's blessings be with you!
Namaste! Please go in peace.
Om Shaniti, Shaniti, Shaniti, Om.
Asking for forgiveness from the supreme being
Lovingly think of the Divine. Mentally invoke:
To the Supreme Being,
Our Heavenly Father-Mother!
Just as we forgive, we are entitled to be forgiven.
Thank you for forgiving me!
